Thomas Gooden

Thomas Gooden, born on July 23, 1992, in Houston, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was a beloved son, brother, and father, whose life, though tragically cut short, was filled with love and warmth.

Educated in the Houston Independent School District, Thomas was known for his caring nature and his deep love for his family. He cherished family gatherings, which served as a testament to the strong bonds he shared with his loved ones. His personality resonated with those around him, making him not only a great guy but also a source of joy and comfort for many.

Thomas is survived by his devoted mother, Bridget Marie Gooden, and his father, Thomas Andrew Gooden Sr. He leaves behind his loving sisters, Juvondulun Perry, Vivian Gooden, and Tonya Gooden, along with his brother, Arrington Perry. Thomas was also a proud and loving father to his children: Starla Nevaeh Wright, Kiyrie Pillard, Jacorey Duncan, Khalan Gooden, and Khalil Gooden.

A visitation to honor Thomas will be held on April 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Fifth Ward Church of Christ, located at 4308 Stonewall St, Houston, TX 77020. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life, taking place from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the same venue.

Thomas Gooden's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His impact was profound, and he will be dearly missed.
